The Project
We are currently taking applications for the ‘Blossom calendar 2010 and have a limited number of places available, please fill out the application form and submit via email or mail.
We are searching for real women aged between 18 to 75 years, we’re looking for all shapes & sizes to feature in our eye catching Blossom Calendar wearing only black Lingerie. Groups of women photographed in stunning locations around Melbourne combining landscape and form to celebrate being a woman at any age, while promoting a positive body image – a one size fits all approach to physical perfection, as girls come in all shapes and sizes (inspired by the UK TV show ‘How to look good naked’) - beautiful just as you are…
A Woman’s Body
We are looking for daring individuals or groups of friends to get involved in this special project. We want to see some big beautiful curvy hips and healthy attitudes. This is about appreciating the body you have & making the most of it. A woman’s body is amazing, it Blossoms, grows & can create life… we should feel good about the beautiful imprint of this on our bodies.
Our Purpose
Blossom of Melbourne Calendar is a commercial project created by Studio3 photography. Our overall purpose and goal is to create beautiful images that inspire all women to respect and love their bodies. Our aim is to use the calendar to help support our chosen charity. This year we will be raising funds for Breast Cancer Australia our aim is to sell & donate 1000 calendars raising over $20,000 visit www.breastcancerresearch.com
We have a professional Burlesque choreographer/dancer at each photo-shoot to help everyone move and relax their bodies and become part of the beautiful landscape. The images will be artistic, tasteful & we have an all female staff.
Support
Each person in the calendar helps support the project by selling 5 to 10 calendars to family, friends, co- workers kid’s school etc... This covers printing, advertising expenses & helps us donate 1000 calendars to Breast Cancer Australia, while ensuring the Blossom calendar is an annual event. The calendars will also make great gifts to family & friends who are keen to support you with this fantastic project that helps promote a positive body image.
Competition Prizes- Blossom Pamper Package $3500
Ordering more than 10 calendars will put you in the running to win prizes totalling $3500. The person that takes the most orders for calendars during the year will win:
- Blossom pamper package: includes a professional photographic makeover to the value of $1500 from Studio3 Photography
- A ‘On Cloud Nine Day Spa” gift voucher: includes massage, pedicures, facials etc… to the value of $1000
- Plus a Westfield $1000 gift card Fashion voucher – total value of the Blossom Pamper Package - $3500

Application process
Once you have been accepted, information will then be sent out regarding the Calendar shooting dates commencing in October, including your group, locations and requirements. You will be placed in a group and will be required to come to the studio for a dress rehearsal & group photograph. We start shooting the Blossom calendar in October 2009 during spring (warmer weather) so you will have at least 5 months to prepare for the photo shoot.
